In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Film & Television category on the Android platform in Brazil showcased notable trends for the top five apps. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in downloads and active user engagement.

Netflix maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 175K and 302K. The app experienced a peak in downloads at the end of December with 302K. Weekly active users remained robust, growing from 19.2M to 22.5M throughout the quarter.

PlutoTV: Live TV & Free Movies showed consistent activity. Downloads ranged from 146K to 224K, with a significant peak in the week of November 11. Active users held steady, hovering around 1.1M to 1.4M.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies generated revenue exceeding $150K weekly, with a slight dip toward the end of the quarter. Downloads peaked at 233K in late November, while active users increased from 3.2M to over 3.6M by the end of December.

+SBT experienced a varied download pattern, reaching a high of 254K in late October. Active users saw growth, peaking at over 1M before declining slightly toward the end of the quarter.

Lastly, CineVS+ - Filmes e Séries recorded a significant increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads jumped from 82K to over 239K by the end of December, while active users rose steadily to 1.4M.
